The Solitary Sparrow has won the Women's Fiction Writers Association (WFWA) STAR Award! I'm thrilled and so proud to be among the smart writers in the WFWA.
The gorgeous background design on this page is from the Lindisfarne Gospels, written and illuminated by monks around 700 AD on the island monastery of Lindisfarne in the north of England. The artistry of the illuminators, working by hand without benefit of copy machines or computer-aided design, is stunning. Visit the British Library site to "turn the pages."
